Cultural Engagement
Intep is involved in cultural projects; we believe in their value and we provide funding. One of the ways we exercise our social responsibility is through promotion of the arts. For example: As a member of the “Friends of the Zentrum Paul Klee” association we continued to fund the cultural activities at the Paul Klee Center in Bern, Switzerland, in 2009.

Sponsorship
Intep also promotes innovative and pioneering projects. In 2009 our activities included financial support and consulting services to help put on a two-week event on “Building for the 2,000-Watt Society: State of Affairs” in Zurich.

Education & Training
We give lectures on Strategic Facility Management, Sustainability Management and Quality Management at the universities of Augsburg, Munich, Luzern, St. Gall and Zurich. We also train future auditors for the German Sustainable Building Certification (DGNB) and we offer training for the Swiss label MINERGIE-ECO.

Quality Management
Intep is an EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) approved company. Our work is based on the latest methods and structured according to processes. Continuous training and the development of technical and social know-how for our employees is the basis for our lasting success.

Climate Protection – Carbon Offsetting
In cooperation with the non-profit foundation myclimate, Intep “offsets” all carbon emission producing processes. We offer financial compensation to promote climate protection projects and the transition to more sustainable energy management in developing countries.

Sustainability
Sustainability is not merely something we preach to our clients, but a philosophy we live by in our day-to-day business. This includes the exclusive use of energy-efficient appliances and paper made from FSC certified fibers. We almost exclusively use public transportation for our daily trips to and from work and on business trips.
