ProLeMo achieves market acceptance in the FM sectorSuccessful implementation
The process and service model ProLeMo was developed by the Swiss IFMA institute under the project management of Intep’s managing director René Sigg and in cooperation with more than 30 project partners from the real estate sector in 2008. Early examples of the successful application of ProLeMo were featured in the journal Real Estate & FM Solutions as well as the Swiss energy guide (Schweizer Energiefachbuch) 2010.
Further potential
The latest edition of the Swiss FM Monitor, a benchmark and survey tool for the Swiss facility management market, includes a survey on facility management standards and guidelines. ProLeMo achieved the best survey results among the guidelines. Half of the respondents are familiar with the process model and the vast majority consider it a suitable tool for the definition of management processes. These findings show that ProLeMo has become a well established standard on the FM market within a short period of time.
